SEAWEED

today my family woke up and went to the beach. all graduating seniors... it wasn't the same without you-- we didn't go to daytona thank goodness. but all i could think about was how we body surfed the WHOLE time while on senior trip. lol once again i look like a fried red lobster... ok its now nine fifteen here and before fifteen minutes ago the last thing i knew it had been 6 o clock... oops a lil nap won't hurt though lol. :) im on vacation right :) chris its good to hear all is well and that you are having fun... we ordered pizza tonight - it rained -- so cozy.. tomorrow is Sea World so i'm looking forward to that. it is hot here, a lot hotter than when we came in May, but its all good! i hope everyone is doing well. chris - i should have known you would be the only one to know about the blog where "I" said presh. too bad i was too lazy one night to blog so mar blogged on at her house and blogged for me .... like i would say presh :) email me sometime..........about stuff ;)

camp and friends

camp was awesome!! i had so much fun with the decatur people (and others that i knew/met). the camp speaker was funny and the worship was awesome. the guys in our cabin really came together and drew into God. we all prayed for each other in a big group. whoever needed prayer would stand in the middle and we would all lay our hands on them and pray. it was incredible. all the services were soo good. on the last day they annointed us all. they poured some oil on our head instead of just a dab on our forehead. it was cool. during the week God did a lot of things, and the thing he revealed to me was that life is not about learning about him, it's about the relationship we have with him. i don't know if that means anything to you, but it really spoke to me.

it was so good to be with everyone again. decatur won 1st and 2nd place in boys basketball and sand volleyball and 2nd place in soccer. the only thing we didn't place in was girls basketball. darin and i were on the same teams. we won basketball and volleyball. it was a lot of fun.

darin and elijah are here now. we've been having fun and laughing a lot. we saw the milky way last night while we were looking at the stars with my dad. we also saw satellites and shooting stars. then we talked to lane on the phone. that was fun. we went to the fresh water spring (d and mar.. remember that?) today we went to church and then came home for lunch. then we went tubing at some people's house. fun times. we are about to leave for servant leaders.

i'm glad that everyone blogged while i was gone. that was awesome to see when i got back. i miss you all and wish i could see you sometime before we all leave for college and stuff. later.

Hot Hot Hot!!!!!

cheesecake factory

hey guys-- we arrived in FL yesterday... amazing... right now i'm in our room on my dad's computer.. ok the best part of yesterday was def the japanese restaraunt. if you 've never been to one.. GO NOW its the best food ever. they cook right in front of you and you get soo much food.. i wouldn't reccomend the clear soup though its gross and looks like there're worms crawling in it :) my family rented a white convertible wich was only a challenge coming from the airport with all our luggage -- please picture that for me will you.. small trunk :) today we went church here and saw some of my moms friends from HS and college.. met their kids bla bla bla ya know how that goes.. then we went to lunch at the cheesecake factory and the waiter was hilarious..he was real young ok looking but soo funny and he mocked my sis when she was whining and just yanked the menu out of my moms hand while she was explaining something and was like ya ya thats nice... my dad and sis and i just bust up laughing.. ben i immediately thought of you and how much you would LOVE this guy.. dont worry we got pixs lol then us girls went to the pool and then it started raining so NAPPY NAPPY lol lol and now im on here and my dad's like "you wanna go for a walk...." so i guess im goin for a walk around our resort. I hope everyone is having a great weekend.. ttyl

Gcroste

Thats a better name for post.....I have been working a lot. Apple just came out with a new generation of ibook G4's, that was depressing. Mines not the best of the best anymore. But they are really small improvements so i guess its ok. I have been working a lot. I liked that movie by the tards. You are all silly pirates. It rained really hard the other day. Its monsoon season.....hang on brb.
Monsoon

A monsoon is a periodic wind, especially in the Indian Ocean and southern Asia. The word is also used to label the season in which this wind blows from the southwest in India and adjacent areas that is characterized by very heavy rainfall, and specifically the rainfall that is associated with this wind.

Ours is wimpy, but they are considered monsoons. You see a wall of dust coming over the mountain..ready to eat you. It blows hard for a half an hour with rain sometimes...then it stops. I have been working a lot. I got some abercrombie and fitch cologne a few weeks ago....I hate that store. they spilled paint on their jeans. that sucks. Cell number is 480-993-8045, and if you have a verizon phone, we can talk to the endless days...if not, let me call you on my home phone, because me and my fam share minutes. Im sure you understand ;) but you can always call and be like....hey call me on your home phone. and I will be like ok.

Benjamin over and out gmoney.

florida awaits me

well i slept in...kinda...worked on my room. i'm moving out. no, silly...not out out. like out as in to the basement. we're getting a foreigner you know. one of those. probably. i went to lunch with jackie and joni at ruby tuesday's...that place is pro. i got soup and salad and it is TO DIE FOR! it was good to see my girls again...it's been awhile! then i worked on my room some more. it wore me out. alot of trips up and down the stairs. it's depressing tho cuz my room has no pictures in it anymore! and i'm still sleeping in there for awhile. then i worked from 4:30 to 8:30 which was kinda long and boring. oh well. i'll probably miss it when i'm at school. i definitely saw some deer on the way home...and one of them had a baby! it was presh! i saw them way ahead of me and was overcautious and slowed down, but then i was too slow to get a picture. but don't worry-i got a picture of a really good sunset. definitely pulled over and snapped that...thank goodness. stopped by mar's to tell her goodbye since i won't see her for years and years. kim's spending the night and we packed. aka i packed. well basically i'm going to florida tomorrow and I CAN'T WAIT!!!!! have a good week everyone.

barron

i went to barron today for the whole day. i went back to see a bunch of my family. i have two cousins that are close to the same age as me. one 2 months older and one 2 months younger. we all graduated this year. i got to see the older one on saturday so that was good. i got to go back and see him again today. the younger one lives in kansas. but.. surprise! his mom and he showed up in barron last night with only telling one of my other uncles. they surprised everyone so we got to be all together again. it may not sound cool to you but it was really good. we took pictures when we were babies with our moms holding us cause we were all about the same age. tonight we sat on their laps and pretty much crushed them cause we are all bigger than our moms now. random that i just told you that. on the way home we saw a lot of deer. many different places too. it was kinda scary. luckily none of them were running or on the road. a lot of them were close though.

i go to camp tomorrow for a few days. i get back saturday. it's going to be awesome. i can't wait. the only bummer is that i won't be able to blog. i haven't gone this long without blogging since... the last camp. well.. all you guys need to know is that i'll be having tons of fun. i miss you all. bye.

Resume---- Res UHHH MAay

its official.... i dunno what is-- but i just typed my first resume tonight and it took an annoying 1 1/2 hours.. complecated -- i hope i get the job lol today i worked swam.. youth group hangout... dodged tornados.. lol jay kay.. mall with cori and mar.. and then home to try and get my life in order.. i'm so glad to hear from everyone it rocks MY WORLD... well these next few days are hectic getting ready for vacation, but i'm sooooooooo excited to go back to FL... i just have tons to do when i get back.. so i hope everyone is doing well.. chris have much fun at camp and with darin... email me or something... and to everyone else email me too lol -- ok i'm an exhausted little youngling so i'm goin to hit the hay at an early 11:30... o gosh.. work tomorrow both morning and night so its a doozy with packing needing to be done as well... love yall...

I'm Back

Okay..I have not been bloging for a while....I have been busy....dodging bombs....lol....anyway life is good! Chris..I miss you tons...e-mail me..
I really dont have much to say just wanted you to know that I will be blogging again as of today...:) later!

this is amazing!!

Well.. first off.. i'm a little annoyed right now. this is the second time i have to type this because the first time i highlighted the text to change the font and it just disappeared.

ok.. now that i got that out. :) i'm so pumped that people actually got back on here. morgan, adriane, jen. i love you guys.. thanks so much for not neglecting us anymore. you guys rock!

we had our 7th grade entry party thing tonight. it was good. it rained, though, so we couldn't do any outdoor games. oh well. we found plenty to do. volleyball. dodgeball. basketball (i played for like 3 hours.. the first time that's happened since we moved). bowling (i bowled a 143.. not usually that good. :) ) fights with the noodle things you use in pools. talking. food. then we split for the night and we have two 7th grade guys at our house.

we named our dog today. her name is Madeline. we call her Maddie. what do you guys think of the name? like it or no? we left her in her portable dog house thing outside when we went to the party at the church. it rained most, if not all, of the time we were gone. so when we got back, she was soaked and cold. she's good now though.

i'm so pumped too that more people got back on here. i love hearing about how you guys are and what's going on in your lives. please keep it up. only 2 days left till camp with Decatur Foursquare!! i can't wait.. it's going to be awesome. tomorrow i'm going back to Barron to see my family again. my cousin and aunts and uncle are all in town from North Carolina/Florida. it's going to be good to see them and be with them.

that's all for now. i hope you guys all had wonderful days. peace.

WOA

i leave the internet for four hours and three new people blog!! this rocks... it worked chris ;) jay kay making everyone feel guilty and then they simultaneously start blgging.. its soo good!!! its also so hot here. today i finally did my senior auction thing for mrs smith. lol it was fun- we cleaned. then i vacuumed my pool. talked to chris a couple. finished doing some college stuff. snapped green beans with my dad. and then hung out with kim. the norm- got her a straightner and shopped. then went to her house -- talked a lot- caught up- stuff like that.. and then watched her be famous on WAND!!! she's a star... lol ok well i'm gonna go clean my room....parents are kinda getting on me for lack of chorage.. oopsy... maybe its because i'm online to the wee hours of the morning. ~clearing throat noise~ anyway i hope everyone is safe.. ttyl
this song is for two special people...
the smile on your face lets me know that you need me
the truth in your eyes saying you'll never leave me
the touch of your hand says you'll catch me whenever i fall
you say it best... when you say nothing at all..

please you two picture me singing this in my off key horrid deanna voice.. you know that annoying one i use when i try and cheer people up :)

the fourth wheel

k, so I'm at home for hardly any time but wanted to take enough of it to let you all know that I'm still alive...and that this is NOT just your blog!! jk...

Glad you guys had a good trip up there...I'm jealous. Chris, we drove through Wisconsin this last week and would have come to see you except that it would have cost us like an extra nine hours and we were only gone 3 days total. sigh...it made me sad.

On thursday morning we are headed to Florida for a family reunion, which should be fun, although I'm not thrilled about being in the car again. Anyway, thought I'd check in.

Mar, that get together we had was awesome....maybe next time we should actually see eachother when we do that! :) I'm SO SORRY I didn't get in touch with you. Crazy, thats the only word for my life right now. Luckily for me you aren't one of those traitors (of which there are many these days) gallavanting off to the ends of the world and leaving me. ...we WILL see eachother soon, just not sure when. I'll try to call you when I get home and maybe we can have one of those huge chocolatey dessert things. After all, once you've made a reputation for yourself, you have to keep it up!

Ok, I'm out...love ya all!

Morgs

the mar, deanna, and chris blog

since nobody else blogs on here, i guess we have our own blog. yes!! i got my wisconsin license this morning. it took a long time cause the place is always filled with people and the people running it are slow and not very nice. we have them though, so it's all good. i have a probationary license since it's my first wisconsin license. that means that if i get a ticket or anything it counts double against me. if i get 12 points i lose my license. bummer. hopefully that doesn't happen. ;)

we are trying to train our dog to go to the bathroom outside. she doesn't really feel like doing that all the time.. not the one. so, that's annoying but other than that she's been good. well.. except for at 3:30 in the middle of the night last night, when she was whining really loud.

we have a party for all incoming 7th graders tonight at the church. we are playing games, going bowling, and playing more games. then we split for an overnighter. the party is for everyone but the sleepover is for only 7th graders. the guys at my house and the girls at katie's house. luckily there are a lot of girls and only a few boys, if any. so that will be nice.

i'm kinda tired cause i stayed up till 3 IN THE MORNING talking to deanna. that was good until morning came. :) well.. i'm out for now. hope to hear from everyone on here soon.. (basically mar and d, since you are the only ones that do it... thank you... you are awesome)

mar go work your corner

tonight.. mar and kim and i decided to hit the streets aka ruby tuesdays in our cute clothes... lol usually we look like crap-- i mean gross looking... they have the best desserts EVER... see pictures-- the one is it full and .2 seconds later-- empty... it was heavenly. then the three of us girls headed back to my house.. and mar said something, kim kicked her out on a corner and kim and i drove away.. so good... we picked her up though, figured we would miss her if she got stolen .. lol aka didn't want to be responsible ;) then we watched raise your voice.. bawled through the whole thing jay kay not.. mocked it even though it is a good movie.. oh yea and kim and i tackled mar to give her a massive wedgy because she was wearing my sisters booty night shorts-- lol she has a better name for them but i don't remember what they were... it was a really fun night--

another scorcher day the temp a lone was well into the hundreds. this is decatur not a hot place ... lol my geography skills are lacking a lil. yea than i took mar home and now i'm on here to stay up and talk to friends or go to bed if i'm tired.. haven't decided. tomorrow brings a busy day for me... pool vaccuuming, senior service thing i've never finished lol and hanging with my kimberry.... so i hope everyone had a great day cause mine totally rocked!! lol im' goin to FL soon can't wait.... !!!!

new dog

we got this dog yesterday. we still haven't named her. michael is super excited about it and jordan too. they will have a lot of fun with it.

yesterday i got up around 6 and we left for barron. it was the foursquare church's 75th anniversary. i drove. we saw three deer, they were in one group and one was a fawn. luckily, they were already on the road so i could see them ahead of time and slow down. once we got to barron, we went to the church for a breakfast thing. then there was a kids service. they had some games and michael got to shoot my dad with a watergun for one of them. i saw my grandma, grandpa, uncle rog, aunt ruth, cousin ryan, aunt diana, and uncle dave. all of them live in barron. i also saw my aunt joan, uncle butch, and cousin tyler. they are from north carolina. and my aunt doris and her granddaughter (from her husband's first marriage). they are from florida. it was really good to see everyone. we hung out for the afternoon. picked up our dog. the one we had originally picked out was a male and we wanted a female so we had to change. then we had supper at the church. tyler, michael, and me skipped the service at night to go be with the dog. good excuse, huh? then we came home. then i talked to mar and d on aol. and went to bed.

woke up this morning. couldn't eat my cereal cause we didn't have milk.. bummer. went to church. went to some people house from our church and had lunch. came home and took a long nap. and now i'm on here. i'll talk to everyone soon. only 3 days left till camp, which means i get to see darin!!!

post people please

fun night-- mar's new car-- saw darin - let him drive it-- hung out- church - nap long-- here's the picture -- ice princess

third blog in a row

well.. i'm back for more blogging. details from yesterday first. we have this huge dirt pile in our yard from the people that lived here before so jordan, michael, and i moved about a third of it to the side of our driveway so it's out of the way and not bad looking. then we went to the carnival (oneida county fair). jordan and michael got wristbands to ride all the rides. they rode the scrambler 5 times. three of them in a row. we went with two other people. one of them was a girl that's michael's age. she got her stomach upset a little. basically.. she puked in the trash can in the middle of the fairgrounds. she got some lemonade and took a little break, but was right back on the rides a little later. she just thought it was funny cause she didn't think she would puke.

i had a dream last night. i was driving in a car with deanna and one or two other people. it was dark and i had to turn around in a parking lot. when i got turned around, there was a tiger/mountain lion in front of us. (i can't remember which one, but i'm leaning toward tiger, so that's what i'm going to use) he was just staring at us. then i saw a deer behind him and to the left. the deer started walking toward us. it walked behind the tiger so it came up on the right of him. when it got next to the tiger, the tiger turned and bit the neck of the deer and killed it. it was holding the deer's limp body by the neck. i took deanna's camera and stuck my hand out the window to take pictures. i hit the button several times, but when we looked at it later, there were no pictures. :( bummer.. that's the end of my dream.

today was boring. i lazed around all day. did some stuff on the computer. set up my basketball hoop. i had to put a new rim on it cause when we moved i broke the other one. so, we have been without a basketball hoop since we moved.. amazing, i know. michael and i played a little bit today. talked to deanna on skype and on the phone a couple times. and talked to mar a few times on the phone. i love them both. we need to keep up the phone calls/skype. now i'm at home on a friday night with nothing to do. i'm talking to josh hjort on aol, so that's good. have a great day/night. it was good to hear that darin, kim, jackie, and everyone else on the europe trip got back safely. i can't wait to hear from you guys.

Hi guys!

Hello everyone! Your guys' lives are basically so much more exciting than mine..basically. I've enjoyed reading about your crazy schedules, it inspires me. Anyways, this summer has been really fast for me. I went to Olivet's Orientation to start it off--amazing! It was great fun! Then about a month ago-my family went on a weekend trip to Indy--reminding us why we don't go on road trips anymore..:) For the 4th of July my aunt took my sisters, cousin (the best ever), and I to VA beach--we got lost mainly in every ghetto of America... Just today actually that same aunt took my grandparents and I to Springfield to that Lincoln Museum--very cool & historic. The next big trip in my exciting future is our youth group trip to Colorado for about a week. Anyways, thanks for staying awake this long! :) If I feel motivated or if something amazing happens to me I'll let you know! Abby
(This is in West Virginia on the way to the beach)

ONE WORD------ WISCONSIN!!!!

woo hoo woo hoo woo hoo woo hoo

yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

huray hurayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

yayayayayayayaya

a few days

well.. it's been a while since i blogged, therefore i'm going to give you the day by day analysis.

wednesday
got up around 8:30. my mom and i drove to barron. (actually, i drove the whole way there and back, so anytime it says we drove, it was really me.) we went to my grandparents house. we talked with them for a while.. it was soo hot in their house. it was at least 84 degrees at all times in there. they had a thermometer thing, it wasn't me making up that number. then we went to some people's house and saw some puppies. we are going to get one! we go back to barron in a week from tomorrow and we are going to pick one then. they are a mix of lab and golden retriever. after that we went to my aunt and uncle's house and saw my aunt and cousin. we talked/played for a while. he is six or seven. then we went out to eat at a place called bona casa. it is a local restaurant. it's the best food i've ever eaten! then back to grandparent's house for the night. we got a phone call from my dad. michael's pet snake, Bill, died. he went in to take a picture of him and he didn't move. he found out he was dead. he's really upset. he cried for a long time and broke down again when we got home. they buried him in our back yard. i'm sure it's hard for you to be sympathetic about a snake dying, but it was his favorite pet. he had him for almost 5 years! and he's only 10, so basically half his life he had him and now he doesn't. :(

thursday
we got up early and drove to st. paul, mn. we had to be at northwestern at 10:30. we got there at 9:30. so, we had an hour to kill. we sat down on a bench in the main hall of where we had to be. my mom painted her toenails while we sat there. it was funny. we decided to go register early. it was supposed to be from 10:30 to 10:45. we went over there and it took about 30 sec. all they did is highlight my name and give me a nametag. then we went into the room where we had to be next. we sat down at our own table. (first ones there that way we didn't have to pick who to sit with) a girl and her mom, and a boy and his mom sat with us. the girl was really weird.. she's going into art.. go figure. the boy was pretty cool. he didn't know what he wanted to be yet. the people in the front talked for a while. then we had to go get the sack lunches that we got from them, but when we sat back down it had to be all student tables and all adult tables. i got to know a few people there. after the session i got my photo id picture taken. when i sat down to have it taken, the guy's computer screen went red. i thought i broke the camera for a min. but my picture turned out really well. we had a little break and then got my class schedule set up. no tuesday classes, baby! i love college. then my mom and i went to a mall. we walked around a little bit and ate some chinese. then we drove all the way home. we had a family campfire and roasted marshmallows and had s'mores. i did my devos then went to bed.

friday
i woke up to michael jumping on me trying to wake me up. finally i gave in. then we went to a bakery and got a donut to eat. it was good. we went to the library and got some books on dogs, since we don't really know how to take care of them. then we went to the bank, and i opened up a bank account. i feel like a big boy now. then back home and cleaning for two awesome friends to come tomorrow!

morgan

o my gosh-- could you be any more smarter lol :)----- except for the word rain and the... i couldn't get passed all those hard words.. either your late nights are catching up with you... OR i'm dumb and your smart=== i think its the second one! lol
QUICK RUN DOWN OF MY DAY

(p.s it RAINED here-- make whatever you want of that word -- but to me its water from the sky in larger quantities that messes up your hair as you go from car to house everytime.)

carted darlene around ALL day

worked

watched a movie with my friend..

and thats about it

oh yea TWO DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the 147th post

For Ben and Chris's benefit, I've consulted a good friend of mine to help remind them of a long forgotten concept and what it means.

Rain:
1. water falling to earth in drops larger than 0.5 mm (0.02 in) that have been condensed from the moisture in the atmosphere
2. the falling of such drops; shower or rainstorm
3. rainy weather, seasonal rainfalls, the rainy season (proceeded by the)
4. a rapid falling or propultion of many small particles or objects

No...I didn't make any of that up... Webster rocks my world. My questions are, how do you measure something that is falling...and how do you measure .02 of an inch... and who decides the official measurement for a legitimate raindrop?? Probably someone from Arizona...or Wisconsin ...and another thing...who needs another the in front of "the rainy season"? These rain people are nuts!

So boys, technically you could make your own rainfall...if you have a lot of "small particles" lying around. I suggest trying grass, lightbulbs, little brothers (if you can aquire a few more), fire crackers, or marbles (just cause that's a cool sound) and let us all know how it works. Oh, and when you're done please add to the definition, as I'm sure the diameter of legit Arizona rain drops could be considerably different. :)

Ok...nonsense enough...teehee

no rain??

you guys are just losers :)or live in loser places ;)

rain (part 2)

it hasn't really rained much here either.

Rain!!!

Someone said something about rain.....I forgot about that....It has sprinkled one time since ive been here. Other then that I dont know what rain is. :)

talking..

i'm talking to deanna and mar right now. i talked to darin on the phone last night. he's having fun over in europe. i mowed the lawn today. then i went swimming. it was fun. i got a new dresser today for my room. jordan put it together. yeah.. that's about all for now.

tap your heels three times

ok so lets say rain is good.... BUT when babysitting brainstorming comes in-- cause i've heard nine hours of tv is bad :)... so we brainstormed.... i built them a fort with blankets and chairs.... at one point i had a "hurt " leg and mountain lions were coming to get us but the lion couldn't see us becuase of the invisible blanket covering out tent. :) ok so then that got old... we then decided to play hide and go seek ... then that got old... so we then played barbies... then that got old... and this awesome barbie though was the good witch from the wizard of oz and was like tap your heels three times..and i repeated it for like fifty thousand times.. then that got old-- so we colored---- i had the best color -- they all wanted to color what i drew--- and you all no i'm NO artist hee hee kids don't know that though! :) ok so then that got old and i decided to start cleaning up the atrotious mess... THEN THE BEST PART OF MY DAY--------- I GOT A CALL FROM KIM AND I TALKED TO DARIN AND JACKIE AS WELL!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS SOOOOOOOOO GOOD!! AND JACKIE HAS ALL THESE FOREIGN GUYS CHASING HER LOL~

ok so then i hung up about forty minutes later--- so good to talk to them--- and then we played more barbies---

so my day was pretty good-- really really really tiring--- three kids in a house all day........ but they were good........... for the most part :)

so now i'm just gonna stay at home and chill!!!! so let it rain... maybe ;)

i hope everyone had a good day!!!!! four more days YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! ps the foots are me mar and A a couple nights ago :)

olives

well i planned on sleeping in today.... but my parents decided to have our carpet cleaned at a bright and early eight a.m so i get up and help move furniture. I go back to bed only to have my dad come in and ask me if i would drive him to springfield. so i did. i took him to the chiropractor and then we went out to eat at the olive garden.. yum yum then we came home.

talked online..... took a nap..... cleaned my room - i think-- i don't really remember...

went to my sister's volleyball game talked to chris on the way while dodging a train... finished second batch of thank you's.... loaded stuff on my computer.... put my living room back in order...and dashed off to mar's for the second night in a row...

so we're at mar's we eat-- then i realized on the way to her house that we ran out of pages-- silly me-- so we go to walmart -- leaving peter at home--- poor kid--- and we see kristy brown--- she tells me the kids i babysat last year want me back because this years sitter sucks=== i hate to be them- haa haa then we go home to finish our scrapbook except mar gets interrupted by duh duh duh duuuuuuu.... and then i work by myself-- ok ok for like ten minutes... then we finish-- analyze the whole scrapbook while cracking up at everything..... and then the locked door---- haa haa ok i drive home and now i'm here....

what a day--- lots of funs!!!

ben..your movies rock my world

that movie was awesome, yet again. i love that you are making those cause they give us a taste of the glorious new life that you have.

i got my hair cut today. then i went swimming at the lake. it was fun. today was hot, so it felt really good to get in the water. tonight my family, katie, and our children's pastor went to michigan. we were barely across the border though. we went to a waterfall park place thing. then we went to see some haunted light thing. it was dumb and there were a ton of people there with flashlights so we couldn't really tell what we were supposed to see... annoying.

on the way home we listened to "Buckle in and Hold on Tight." my mind filled with awesome memories of you all. it was so good to listen to that again.

oh yeah.. we also went geocaching tonight. first time since we moved. bummer none of you guys could go with me this time.

Oh friends

I just arrived from mexico....it was good got a video from it. carltonparty.blogspot.com....its pro....Email me if you want more info on mexico... Glad you all are going to asu. Mar, I dont know who you are anymore.

long day..

went to church this morning. out to eat with my family and our children's pastor. she's moving to barron on saturday. she used to be in my parents youth group in barron and now she's moving back there to teach in the Christian school that i went to before i moved to decatur.

this afternoon i was soooooooo bored. i spent half the afternoon on the computer doing nothing. we don't have ac in our house and it was hot today. i was so hot that i just went and took a cold shower. it felt good.

we had servant leaders tonight. it's a Bible study for the youth in place of youth group. we read a chapter of the OT and a chapter of the NT. then we talk about it and discuss how our week went. it's pretty cool.
my devotions tonight were really good. i needed them a lot. i read matthew 5. go read it now.. it's my favorite chapter of the Bible.

i talked to mar, a, and d on the phone tonight. it was awesome!
mar, d.. i can't wait till you guys get here. it's going to be a ton of fun.

crazy day

i went to the church today and helped with some renovations in the youth room. we are going for the extreme sports look. we did a little bit today, but still have some to do. during that i got a call from deanna. her dad had some weird health thing going on. he passed out and it was really freaky. they took him in to the hospital. the tests came back that nothing was wrong but they are still a little shaken up. pray for them. thanks. :)

then tonight we had family date night. katie's family and my family hung out at my house. it was her dad, mom, sister (stacia), brother (ben), her brother's wife (ashley), and ashley's little brother (michael). it was lots of fun. we watched Phantom of the Opera. but halfway through, ben, jordan, michael, michael, and me went outside and played football for a little bit. we came back in for the last part of the movie. that thing is long.

after the movie we just hung out and talked. katie's dad had a short little quiz for me, but i passed with a perfect score. thank you very much! here it is.

1) when you pick up my daughter for your date, you will..
a) sit in the driveway and honk
b) come to the door to meet the parents

2) the type of vehicle you will pick up my daughter in is..
a) a van
b) a 2 seater compact car
c) a motorcycle

3) when the two of you leave the house on your date you will..
a) meet up with friends for group activities
b) park the car on a secluded stretch of road
c) go to a romantic restaurant

4) how do you define a midnight curfew?
a) 11:59 pm
b) 12:00 midnight
c) 12:01 am

i answered: 1 - b, 2 - b, 3 - d (a and c... then after a little bit added.. but mostly a), and 4 - a

i received a handshake and passed the test! yes!!

that was my crazy day. i hope your day was good too.

update...one of those

hey there...

I'm working a lot at the hospital and that's going really well...last night was a little bit annoying but nothing major, and I'm finally getting to know people over there a little bit better, which is nice.

Tomorrow, we're doing a rummage sale for our good friends in Mt. Zion...so if you have some extra cash and the need for 20 year old junk feel free to stop by! It's craziness but fun too.

I feel like my day is almost over and I just woke up an hour ago...ah well, such is the life when you're working nights. Pray for me to be a light over there. I miss you kids quite a bit. Happy birthday Justin!

happy birthday justin

went to the lake this morning for a short bit. i rode my bike there. it's a little longer ride than i expected. i haven't ridden my bike for a while so it was nice to do that. got home as jordan, michael, and my mom were leaving to go to the lake. i decided to stay home. got the rest of my graduation thank yous done. HALLELUJAH! now all i have to do is write on the envelopes and mail them. put some more pictures on my pictures website. did my devos. put together the rest of my basketball hoop. now all we need is the rim. i broke our old one while getting the hoop ready for us to move. oops. went to the church and played volleyball... not the same without you guys. :( went to Wal-Mart to look for a rim, just to find out that they don't have them. How can the biggest store with the biggest assortment of things not have a simple basketball rim?!?! annoying. we may have to drive an hour away to find one. came home and my family watched part of princess diaries. i played some online poker. i was rockin. usually i lose all the time, but i won a ton tonight. it was fun. now i'm blogging.

oh yeah.. and since it's actually the 8th when i'm writing this... HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUSTIN BREEZEEL!

i'll sing for you like i did for kim.
happy birthday to you,
happy birthday to you,
happy birthday dear justin,
happy birthday to you.

hip, hip, hooray! finally you are an adult. congratulations.

happy 6th of july

today i had to pick jordan up from driver's ed. i was like 3 min late so he decided to go back in and take a test.. without me knowing that. this was the first time i had to pick him up so i'm sitting there thinking.. am i at the right place?.. where is he?.. i start driving around the high school feeling dumb and lost. i go back to where i was.. park. and then walk up to the school. of course i had just woke up and had these tiny soccer shorts on.. the white ones from this year.. remember those?.. luckily only like 2 adults saw me. i get to the door and jordan walks out. then we had to wait for it to be graded. all in all it wasn't bad and he didn't do anything wrong.. i just felt like a complete idiot.. oh well.

other than that all i did was sit at home all day. jordan, michael, and i went to a lake for a bit. it's 2.3 miles from our house and it's a really nice lake. sandy beach with no rocks. it was cool. i'm sure i'll go there a lot this summer.

church was good tonight. we had a guest speaker. one of my dad's friends who used to be the youth pastor here in rhinelander when we lived in barron. the worship was uh.. interesting. the songs that we knew were good but we tried to do some from camp. not exactly the same as camp. one of the songs they couldn't remember all the words so they made some up for a few lines. it was funny, but we couldn't laugh or else we would look bad. we were in the front row too. they didn't do that bad but it was a good fun time.

after church my family went to a bonfire at some people's house. it was kinda fun. all adults except the hohmboyz and the guest speaker's daughter. it was fun to listen to the adults talk because it was my dad, my pastor, and the speaker guy. all three of them are funny and like to laugh.

well.. that's all for now. peace out.

i woke up this morning.. or afternoon.. at 12:07 it was nice to sleep. i've been staying up late every night talking to everyone. jordan and i hung out with a few people for a little bit. tonight i'm going to watch Rebound at the State Theater in Rhinelander with katie. hopefully it's good. it's a basketball movie so i'm sure i'll love it. i don't know if i'll get on tonight or not. but if not, hi to everyone.

Independence day

got up this morning at 10. went to the rhinelander city parade with my family and katie. it was good. then i went home for a bit. did my devotions. (i've been slacking REALLY bad with those. i finally did them again.) i did them on our hammock from nicaragua. then i went to the church's fireworks stand and started the clean up. we got there at 4 and got done at 930. we cleaned while keeping it open for any last customers. it wasn't too bad.. just long. i took a ton of staples out of the poles for the tent. some people don't know how to use a stapler. i took out probably between 30 and 50 from each pole. my dad did some poles, my mom did one or two, and i did a bunch. there were so many staples.. ok.. enough about staples. then i went home and got on the computer. watched daddy day care with my family. talked online for a long time with lots of my friends. the best time i had all day was talking to you all. i miss you soo much and wish i could hang out with you. i talked to deanna, darin, justin, mar, adriane, and jen. no order of importance there.. sorry if you were towards the end. :) i hope everyone has a great day tomorrow. go watch ben's movies. you will love them. I REALLY MISS YOU ALL. love ya.

at church the guest speaker said something about despair.com go there and read the quotes. just click around until you find them. they are funny un-motivational quotes.

fireworks

i woke up this morning in the camper outside of the fireworks stand. i had the overnight shift. i got done at 8 so i went home for a little bit. then at 11 we went back in. we worked till 4. jordan got contacts today.. he's pretty pumped about that. they had to show him how to do everything with them so we didn't get home until 5:30. i was home for an hour and a half. then i picked up katie and we went down to where the fireworks would be. we went to our pastor's house along with a bunch of people from the church and hung out for a little bit. we all walked down the block to the park and found our places. then.. the show began. lots of cool fireworks. it's kinda weird that they did it tonight instead of the fourth but it's all good. it was a lot of fun. i took some pictures and a few little movies. then we went back to our pastor's house for a little more hanging out. about 11:20 we left to go to our house. 4 people from the youth group (katie, stephanie, danielle, and josh) came over and chilled for a bit. i took katie home and now i'm blogging. that's about all for now. have a great time at church tomorrow (or today) everyone.

LOOK AT THIS

Cub

hey guys-- just got home from cub camp--- its been goin on all week long but my dad cooks on the weekend... but since i had to work tomorrow i came home tonight and stayed with kim since she's goin to europe!

this weekend was awesome because friday night we had staff circle which was AMAZING!!!! the staff gathered arm in arm and sang awesome worship songs and prayed and then talked about their week and how the kids touched their lives. I really needed that - it was soo good-- and most of these people i'm goin to school with next year so it just was a little touch of how its goin to be-- i was really excited!

these kids were sooo cute but some of them have some seriuos things that even i don't have to deal with.... one little boy lost his dad two years ago to cancer and then just lost his mom about a month ago... he was in the river and she jumped in to save him ,... he was saved but she drowned... here he is only eight years old! i sometimes we think we have it tough...

i have a roomate for sure now. her name is sarah and she's really nice, from Wisconsin.. she's kinda quiet-- haa haa- but we get a long... the first time we met we were both laughing and she's friendly... so i'm excited about that!

this weekend was just really good... oh yea last year to the staff i brought big boody with me and they still play it !!!!! they were goin to play it tonight but i had to take my mom and sister home--- darlene got sick yesterday and today--- otherwise they were goin to start a round of Big BOODY good times good times!! well everyone i haven't seen all of you in years so hopefully i'll see some of you soon! have a good forth and God Bless!!!!

home...

hi...so I came home, I survived, and I'm glad that Illinois is the flattest place in the WHOLE COUNTRY!! Oh well...at least we can GROW topography (aka corn) if we can't have mountains and stuff.

I'd never been out east and I liked it I think. Saw DC in like 7 hours. Not the smartest idea but we did it. Saw some old friends, spent a day on the beach, went to a waterpark, did Williamsburg, talked with Patrick Henry, watched some good movies.

Oh...and I discovered something about myself...I'm obsessed with barns. Not the kind you would put something in. The old wooden kind that look like they've been there for about 80 years and are sagging and loosing paint and have those cool grain elevators next to them and ivy growing up the walls. I took about 20 pictures just of barns while driving in the car. One of the many joys of digital cameras. So...I'm home, but I'm also tired, so now I'm out...

Lifes HA

Updation: Joel Johnson is here along with his family....It was cool seeing Jackie. I started work yesterday, I dont know what Im getting paid, but my dad seems to think it will be generous. They had a guy already that my dad said I would be a competator with him (his name is Mike), to get the job....So when I got there I was really determined to get the job and Danny (my lead guy I work with) said that it would take him about 8 hours to move a huge pile of concrete....I did it in an hour and a half....My boss (Jim) said he would come with a weelbarrow, and I got the pile done before he got there.........Then my dad asked Jim how he thinks I did, and these were his words "lets put it this way....I told Danny that Mike is gone" !!!!!!! HA HA HA I did so well they are fireing Mike because I did so much more work, and they didnt like his attitude. That was awesome.

My laptop parts are coming in....I ordered everything, and I got my wireless mouse, the Isight (webcam) but the laptop doesnt come till Wednesday......TICK ME....Its good though, because we leave for The Sea of Cortez (Mexico) on thursday for our first vacation, so I will get my laptop one day before that. Thank goodness, I will be learning the ways of Macintosh the whole way there. Yea, Mexico.....Jim and Beth Scott, (the people that my dad works with) own a home in Mexico that fits 15 people....so their parents and our whole family is going with their family and the home has a maid. HA HA a maid..................................................... She is Mexican.

I took the placement test at the college Im going to. I did fine. I am just taking all the basic stuff for freshman. Im glad your all going to ASU.

THE WARPED TOUR. Omgsh that was so so so fun. I saw at least 20 people faint of heat exausion. It was an adventure for a whole day. Its a tour that a lot of bands we all listen to are at. I really liked Matchbook romance, and All American Rejects, and My Chemical Romance the best. The Starting Line was good too. This guy pulled out brass knucles and hit a cop.....ha ha ha he got wooped. Like five cops came over and tackled him and shoved his face is concrete and tasored him for like 5 minutes (not exagerating) and then cuffed him and took his bloody face away. I got a shirt from Matchbook Romance, and All American Rejects and while I was at the All American Rejects booth the main vocalist happened to be there and signed my shirt. Pro.....So pro. The AAR (All American Rejects) were just letting the fans do everything. They encouraged everyone there to throw water bottles at them lol. He was singing and getting hit in the face by watter bottles....and loving it. I have pictures of the water bottle episode. Look at my blog to the right, where it says links :) http://carltonparty.blogspot.com/. There are some other pics there too...and soon a video. Love you guys! Im out.

today was a pretty boring day. i did some graduation thank yous and was lazy the rest of the day. tonight was great though. i went to dinner with katie. we had chinese. then we went to her house and watched Miracle. great movie. she had to go to the fireworks stand for our church at 10. the movie wasn't over so i stayed at her house with her mom and watched the rest of it. her sister and dad came home too. it was funny. they both gave me a weird look but then thought it was great. it was fun with them too. that's all i did today.
