A lot of things...

the past month has been fun saw the hohms in WI .. went to a powow.. boated with friends from my school... worked.. not fun. quit working.. fun. got my wisdom teeth out.. no not fun either... but its all been mostly. you guessed it. fun.

the past few days have been fun too.. six flags.. state fair with Carrie Underwood... and packing for college.. by the time you read this .. im gone.. yipee.. can't wait.. so excited!!! my friends say they are a ton of new freshman .. ya for new kids on the block :)

i'm up late.. i shouldn't be.. i have an appt at 7 tomorrow and a drive ahead of me! its been a long time since i've blogged but i'd figure i'd say hello and wish everyone well!!!

Collegin' ag'in

This picture says it all. Easily a thousand words. But I only have time now for a few.
So here's another episode of the short phrases blog. These might be more common since school's begun:

Dorm room almost set up now.
Roommate nice, very easy going, kinda quiet, likes lots classic rock and oldies.
Cafeteria food hard to get used to.
This year's classes hard to get excited about.
Bed much smaller than at home.
Sleep schedule moving towards normal, but still feels strange.
Reuniting with everyone is spectacular (esp. the praise band I play with).
Aaron and Annie (my bro and sis-in-law) live down the street, so I'll see 'em almost every day! Most of my hall brothers are same from last year, but the new ones seem good so far.
'Didn't realize how much I missed hearing Dr. Brown (our president).
It's 12:30AM here, and I'm getting up kinda early to run with Ben Curtis (one of my best friends here). This'll be one pathetic run for me, I fear.

First Day of School

Well, I started school today at Nicolet College. I had English Comp II and Math for Elementary Teachers. They were both ok classes. I like my math teacher better. My English teacher is weird. We are still getting moved in to our new house. Lots of work going on. Hope all is well with you all.

Camping

My family is going camping for the next three days. I'm pretty excited. We never do this. It's going to be a lot of fun.

I've stayed out at Fease's the last couple nights (not last night) and it's been fun. All the staff are going back to school so this is their last week, or they already left, so I've been hanging out with them. Two nights ago we stayed up till 3:45 just doing nothing. We played Nerts every night. Have you guys heard of that? Well, it's fun and I won every night. haha

Pinta, if you check this again soon. Leave some way of contacting you. Like email or something. I feel like I haven't talked to you in ages. It was good to hear from you. And yes I'll be completely fluent by the time I get back. I'll have to come back to Decatur and we can visit Mr. Scherer and show him that we know more than him.
