Cos writes (vol. 4): Styrofoam Sunday Supper

I really enjoy Sunday dinners. No, not for the food, though actually tonight's was more edible than usual. Sunday dinners are great because they've become a tradition, something not unlike (which is a fancy way of saying "like") donning a yarmulka at a bar mitzvah.
Josh (my roomate), Sarah, Rachel, Isaac, and I met one random Sunday night for dinner, and had an absolute blast! We had to have lost 30 pounds each for all the laughing we did. We also had some really good serious talk. So it was the perfect well-rounded group conversation.
Then the next week we met again, and it was just a great! As time has gone on, more people have been added to our group, so that each Sunday night we're bigger than we've ever been, which goes for tonight as well. Sure, we have more separated conversations now, but the overall spirit of warmth, fun, and friendship rests above us like the Goodyear blimp at the SuperBowl.
After waiting all Christmas break for us to get back together, we finally watched "Lord of the Bean," the new VeggieTales flick. My invisible hat's off to those gents for what they do and how well they do it.

Tonight we took a bunch of styrofoam cups and did the whole turn it inside out thing. After breaking a few when we got to the outer lip, we just decided our goal would be do everything BUT that lip. Ya see, lower your expectations and success is within reach!
So now I'm back "home," being my dorm room, being heavily tempted to watch the "Paycheck" DVD I just borrowed from Rachel's roomate, Amanda, before reading my honors assignment and writing a review on it. If at gunpoint I was forced to give a level of temptation on a 1-10 scale, I'd probably have to say 9.239487 or maybe one more millionth more even. Thankfully, I'm not staring down a gun barrel (just down the barrel of a dumb reading assignment!).
Okay, okay, I'll stop complaining and go do the evil deed already. Then I can reward myself with the weekend flick (yet another tradition). Perhaps I might even have enough time afterward to invert some styrofoam.
